WEST CALDWELL, NJ — With only 14 seconds left to go in double overtime of a second-round Essex County Tournament game between Livingston and James Caldwell, the Chiefs overpowered the Lancers to take home the victory, 8-7—advancing them into the county finals against Seton Hall Prep.

James Miller scored three goals and had two assists to lead Caldwell to victory on Thursday.

Anthony Costigan scored two goals and assisted on one for the Chiefs (10-3) in a game that was close throughout. Dan Fano, Kyle Ross and Joe Valenti also scored in the victory.

Winning goalie Frankie Genello made 15 saves.

Brian Russo scored four goals and had one assist for Livingston (9-5), which got 20 saves from Stephen Russo. Ryan Valese, and Dylan Mandelbaum also added goals for Livingston.
