The campers of The Early School Camp of Temple B’nai Abraham enjoy themed -weekly activities this summer. In honor of the 2012 Summer Olympics in London there was a “Going for the Gold “ week when campers had great fun participating in their own Olympic games consisting of in relay races, bubble blowing, bike races and sprinkler sprinting. To kick-off the ceremonies they each fashioned torches crafted out of mixed media, and one was passed hand to hand to each camper when it was ultimately “lit” at the handmade Olympic “cauldron”. The week ended with a medal ceremony, where everyone was deemed an Olympic medalist! Shownare campers passing the Olympic Torch .
