LIVINGSTON, NJ — To coincide with Heart Health Month in February, the Livingston Public Library is hosting a free community lecture entitled “Living a Heart Healthy Life” on Tuesday, Feb. 13, starting at 7 p.m.
This is the second event in the library's new health and wellness series in partnership with the Summit Medical Group, in which the library hosts presentations on popular health topics by physicians and practitioners from the group.
The presenter for this event is Dr. Liliana Cohen, MD, FACC, who specializes in the management and treatment of cardiovascular disease. She has held a variety of medical and teaching positions at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital.
Dr. Cohen is an accomplished researcher in her field. She is also a member of the American College of Cardiology, the American Society of Echocardiography, and Alpha Omega Alpha, the medical honor society.
Dr. Cohen will speak about how to make healthy choices that impact heart health, the typical mistakes to avoid, and how to recognize heart attack symptoms.
