Livingston Area Chamber of Commerce Annual Awards Cocktail Reception Announced

LIVINGSTON, NJ – The Livingston Area Chamber of Commerce announced that its annual awards dinner will be held Sep. 14 at 6 p.m. at the Cedar Hill Country Club in Livingston.

The LACC dinner is the organization’s main event of the year and is a chance for the community to recognize citizens for their service and leadership.

This year’s honorees include:

Louis Urban of Bernheim Apter Kreitman, Business Person of the Year
Helen Flores of West Essex YMCA, Civic Leader of the Year
Marie Bennett, Citizen of the Year
Ed Chedister, Livingston Fire Department
Officer Donna Majuri, Livingston Police Department
Scott Bart, Livingston First Aid Squad
Cynthia Healy, principal of Harrison School, Livingston Board of Education

"Cedar Hill Country club has prepared a fabulous menu for guests," said Monte Ehrenkranz, president of LACC. "We will also have a surprise entertainer, a silent auction, and raffle. All prizes for the raffle are donated by local businesses so it truly is a community event. We look forward to this year's celebration of the good people that live, work and serve the community of Livingston."
