LIVINGSTON, NJ — The Livingston High School Boys Ice Hockey Team, scoring a goal in each period, defeated Nutley in a home game against Nutley at the Codey Arena in West Orange on Saturday night.
Livingston Sophomore Matthew Delsini, who made 14 saves throughout the game, led the Lancers’ to a shutout that ended in a 3-0 win.
Ronan Tattersall put the Lancers on the scoreboard with a goal 9:39 into the match. Ryan Dallow scored in the second and third periods, the first with 3:10 left to play in the second period and the latter 48 seconds into the third.
Phil Edelman, Chase Friedfertig, Max Solomon and Jake Crockett provided assists for the three goals. Livingston ended the game with a total of 24 shots on goal, compared to Nutley’s 14.
The Livingston Lancers Boys Ice Hockey defeated Hopewell Valley 2-1 on Dec. 2, but lost to Montclair Kimberly 3-2 in the first match of the season on Nov. 30. Livingston plays Montclair in an away game on Dec. 9 at 7:30 p.m.
