Livingston High School Class of 2010 Valedictorian and Salutatorian Announced

Livingston High School principal, Pam Clause McGroarty, recently notified the Livingston High School class of 2010 Valedictorian and Salutatorian of their distinctions.

As the 2010 Valedictorian at Livingston High School, Marisa Denker, an intelligent, dedicated, conscientious, creative, and personable young woman, with strong convictions and the ability to bring about change. In addition to achieving in the classroom, amassing "A" after "A," Marisa is a well-rounded person with a long list of extra-curricular activities. For example, she introduced REBEL (Reaching Everyone By Exposing Lies - an anti-smoking group) to LHS; and she co-founded the Help Darfur Now! Club. Marisa is an active member of the student council and commits time to several other service-based and academic clubs and tutors an eighth grade student and ninth grade student. Everything she does, whether choosing her classes or what activities to be involved in, she does because of her own convictions and strong sense of ethics. In her spare time, Marisa enjoys reading, traveling and working on various art projects.

As Valedictorian for the Class of 2010, Marisa will be the final speaker at the graduation ceremony to bid farewell to her classmates as they go on to follow their individual paths after being graduated.

As the 2010 Salutatorian at Livingston High School, Matthew Tse is not only known as an academically gifted young man, but he is respected by the community as a talented and personable young man with a great sense of humor. As a student, Matt maximized the number of advanced placement classes available to him while maintaining an "A" average. He is an active member of the Student Government Association and successfully organized the first homecoming dance for LHS. Matt is an active participant in Science Olympiad and has been playing the cello since fourth grade.

As Salutatorian for the Class of 2010, Matt will deliver the salutatory address.
