LIVINGSTON, NJ — Livingston High School (LHS) senior Erin Zhu has been nominated for the Art Administrators of New Jersey (AANJ) Emerging Artists Award for her painting, “Tibetan Boys,” which can be seen above.

AANJ's mission is to advance visual arts education in the New Jersey public schools through communications, professional development, political advocacy and leadership.

"This is an exceptional opportunity, as one student is nominated per New Jersey school district per year," said LHS art teacher Deniz Olcay.

Zhu has been invited to a virtual award ceremony hosted by Kean University on Sunday, Jan. 24.
