LIVINGSTON, NJ — A lecture on traditional Chinese medicine was recently held at Livingston High School (LHS) part of a 16-day Healthy Life with Chinese Medicine Tour of Chile, Peru and North America, sponsored by Beijing Language and Culture University.

The event, organized by LHS language teacher Lucy Lee, gave students in Chinese language classes the opportunity to gain a better understanding of how to integrate the concept of Chinese medicine to improve health and wellness.

Activities included a lesson on how to massage acupuncture points to restore energy and relieve stress, a lesson in the health benefits of different types of tea and the crafting of traditional Chinese ornamental herb pouches.
