Livingston Mall Announces 2014 Holiday Season 'Extra Festive' Hours

Livingston Mall, a Simon shopping center, is announcing enhanced holiday season opening hours to accommodate the needs of busy holiday shoppers. Livingston Mall will be open from 6 PM on Thursday, November 27, 2014 (Thanksgiving) through 1 AM Friday, November 28, 2014 to kick off the holiday shopping season. The mall will re-open at 6 AM on “Black Friday,” November 28, 2014 and will close at 10 PM that evening.

On Saturday, November 29, the mall will open at 9 AM and close at 10 PM, and the mall will open on Sunday, November 30 at 10 AM and close at 8 PM.

In addition to normal operating hours during the month of December, Livingston Mall will offer extra festive hours on certain days.  For more information visit: www.shoplivingstonmall.com.

“Convenience is key to successful holiday shopping whether you start early or late in the season. Research shows that 84% of shoppers agree that malls provide a convenient option to get a lot of shopping done in one trip*,” said Maria Gregorius, area director of marketing and business development for Livingston Mall. “We are offering extra holiday hours to meet our customers’ needs - from the person looking for the latest fashion and styles of the season to the family hunting for great deals to the last-minute shopper in search of the perfect gift.”

On Thanksgiving evening as the doors open at 6 PM, Livingston Mall will have greeters stationed at each mall entrance with goodie bags for customers. The first 120 shoppers will receive a free cup of hot chocolate and munchkins, while supplies last. There will also be strolling carolers throughout the evening. On Black Friday, Guest Services will handing out special treats to shoppers who will be entertained by a Jazz duo playing throughout the day as well.

Additional shopper appreciation programs will take place at Livingston Mall throughout the holiday season and include Random Acts of Gifting, charity gift wrapping in the lower level in the Macy’s wing and various holiday performances throughout the month of December. 

To provide gift-giving inspiration, Simon and Vogue Advertising have collaborated to produce the “Ultimate Holiday Gift Guide”, curated by Vogue’s Market Stylist**, Cara Crowley, who has selected her favorite holiday products from retail brands available at Simon Malls, Premium Outlets and Mills. These Gift Guides will be previewed as an insert in the December issue of Vogue with the full print version available at Livingston Mall by the end of November. A digital version of the full Gift Guide will also be available on simon.com/holidaygiftguide
