LIVINGSTON, NJ – A commemorative service for those who have died defending the United States will be held on Monday at 9:30 a.m. prior to the Livingston Memorial Day Parade, which will head north on South Livingston Avenue toward Town Center beginning at 10 a.m. and end at Congressional Parkway. In the event of inclement weather, the ceremonial service will be held in the Livingston High School Auditorium.

In honor of the holiday, Livingston Town Hall and all township offices will be closed. No garbage or recycling will be collected on Monday.

Those whose normal garbage collection day is Monday will have garbage picked up on their next regularly scheduled day on Thursday, May 31.

Recycling collection will move forward one day all week. Therefore, Monday’s recycling will instead be picked up on Tuesday, May 29; Tuesday’s recycling moves to Wednesday, May 30; Wednesday’s recycling moves to Thursday, May 31; Thursday’s recycling moves to Friday, June 1; and Friday’s recycling will instead be picked up on Saturday, June 2.
