LIVINGSTON, NJ — The Livingston Police Department (LPD) received a call regaring a burglary at Livingston United Methodist Church on W. Hobart Gap Rd. on Nov 23, which officers believe happened over night.

According to LPD, it appears as though entry gained through a window in the building into an office area. At this time, the LPD is unsure as to what was removed from the church. The incident is still under investigation

The LPD also received a call on Nov. 17 about a group on individuals gathering at a vacant house at 223 W. Mt. Pleasant Ave. in Livingston. Upon arrival, officers found six individuals inside the house—two juveniles and four adults, All were charged with unlicesned entry of a structure and were released.
