LIVINGSTON, NJ — The fourth annual Livingston Public Schools Hour of Code Family Night, held once a year in December as part of Computer Education Week, invites the families of third, fourth and fifth grade students to spend an hour exploring and sharing coding projects on Dec. 8 via Zoom webinar at 7 p.m.

According to LPS, Hour of Code events are held around the world in order to demonstrate that “anybody can learn the basics” and to “broaden participation in the field of computer science."

Following the kick-off webinar, participants will be invited to work with their family using BrainPOP's Hour of Code Creative Coding activities, take a picture of their project and upload it to a Google Form in order to share with other LPS families and administrators.
