Niche also ranked Best NJ Public High Schools, with Livingston High School ranked #29, and Best Private Schools, with Newark Academy ranked #5. reported that the Livingston School District has 5,714 students attending nine schools in grades PK and K-12. According to state standards, 90 percent of students in this district are proficient in math and/or reading. In addition, the district has an annual budget of $118,609,000, spending an average of $20,362 per student.
