Livingston Ranked 17th Best School District in NJ by K12Niche.com

LIVINGSTON, NJ - In its new ranking of the Best Public School Districts, K12Niche.com, which provides rankings of schools across the country, listed the Livingston School District as #17 among the top 100 districts in New Jersey. Niche also ranked Best NJ Public High Schools, with Livingston High School ranked #29, and Best Private Schools, with Newark Academy ranked #5.

K12Niche.com reported that the Livingston School District has 5,714 students attending nine schools in grades PK and K-12. According to state standards, 90 percent of students in this district are proficient in math and/or reading. In addition, the district has an annual budget of $118,609,000, spending an average of $20,362 per student.

According to K12Niche.com, a high district ranking indicates that the district contains great schools with exceptional teachers, sufficient resources, and a diverse set of high-achieving students who rate their experiences very highly.
