LIVINGSTON, NJ — Livingston residents are reminded that they have until Sunday night, Aug. 9, to place storm-related branches and debris on the curb for pickup so that the Department of Public Works (DPW) can make one pick-up sweep through town beginning Monday.
Branches and debris will be picked up according to the township’s leaf-collection sections, which can be found in the photos above or BY CLICKING HERE.
Trucks will only come through each street once to pick up branches and debris, and will not pick up any grass clippings, flowers, shrubs or other non-storm-related items that are left at the curb. Property owners will be responsible for properly disposing of trees and limbs still left on their property after the trucks come through their street.
The DPW reiterated that all storm-damaged branches and debris should be kept out of the street, as leaving branches, tree limbs, or debris in the streets causes a serious safety hazard.
