LIVINGSTON, NJ — The Livingston Sunrise Rotary is hosting a Walk With A Doc event on Saturday at Littell’s Pond at 9 a.m. in an effort to encourage the community to “take steps toward a healthier lifestyle.”
As participants walk, Padam Neopane, MD, and other local physicians will be on hand to answer their questions.
All are welcome to attend this event. No fancy gear is required—only a comfortable pair of shoes.
Walk With a Doc brings communities together by creating a safe environment to experience health education and inspiration.
It was started in 2005 by a cardiologist in Ohio who was “frustrated with his inability to affect behavior change in the clinical setting,” according to the website. Today, Walk with a Doc extends all around the globe with nearly 400 chapters worldwide.
