LIVINGSTON, NJ — As residents continue to spend time outdoors this summer, the Livingston Health Department (LHD) is urging community members to take their health and safety into consideration.

In order to provide information on how to keep family members from insect bites, ticks, poisonous plants, the sun and other summer activities that can result in injuries and illnesses, the LHD is hosting a free virtual presentation via Zoom on Wednesday, July 22 from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m.

In conjunction with local health officials, Lucio Volino, Pharm.D.—a Clinical Pharmacist at Saint Barnabas Medical Center and Clinical Associate Professor at Rutgers University—will lead the presentation along with student interns.

For more information or to register, contact Livingston Health Educator Jessica Kelly at jekelly@livingstonnj.org or 973-535-7961 ext. 227 or 228. Zoom meeting information will be shared upon registration.
