LIVINGSTON, NJ — Livingston Town Hall and all Township offices will be closed on Wednesday, July 4, 2018 for the Independence Day holiday.

Garbage Collection

There will be no garbage collection on Wednesday, July 4. If your normal garbage collection day is Wednesday, your garbage will be picked up on your next regularly scheduled day, which will be Saturday, July 7.

Recycling Collection

Recycling will not be collected on Wednesday, July 4, and collection will move forward one day for the rest of the week. Therefore, Wednesday’s recycling (Zone 3) will be picked up on Thursday, 7/5; Thursday’s recycling (Zone 4) moves to Friday, 7/6; and Friday’s recycling (Zone 5) will instead be picked up on Saturday, 7/7.

On Wednesday, July 4, Livingston will host its 82nd annual July 4th Celebration on Memorial Oval, Robert Harp Drive. The all-day family event includes the Auto Show, games, competitions, rides, food, live music, and the annual fireworks show. View the full schedule at www.livingstonnj.org/July4th.
