LIVINGSTON, NJ - The Livingston Municipal Court settled one case for the week of Nov. 10 through Nov. 16.

Shaun Alli of West Orange was charged with possession of heroin, possession of drug paraphernalia, specifically a snorting tubule, DWI, careless driving, reckless driving, leaving the scene of an accident and failure to report an accident.

The charges of careless driving, reckless driving and leaving the scene of an accident were all dismissed as part of a plea agreement. Alli plead guilty to the charge of failure to report an accident and received fines of $106 and $33 in court cost fees.

For the charge of DWI, Alli received a seven month NJ license privilege revocation and fines of $306, $33 in court cost fees, $50 to the Victim of Crime Compensation Fund, $75 to the Safe Neighborhood Fund and a $200 DWI surcharge fee. Additionally he must stay at an intoxicated driver recourse center for two days.

The charge of possession of drug paraphernalia was dismissed and the charge of possession of heroin was downgraded by the Essex County Prosecutes Office to loitering for drugs.  

For the offence, Stoll entered into a one year conditional dismissal term, in which he will be monitored and must stay drug free for the duration. If he does not, Alli will be assessed additional fines of $100, $33 in court cost fees, $50 to the Victims of Crime Compensation Fund and $75 to the Safe Neighborhood Fund.
