LIVINGSTON, NJ — A woman who was swimming at Haines Community Pool, next to Livingston High School, on Monday, July 11, was rescued from the water after she was witnessed having a seizure in the pool.

The unidentified woman, who is believed to be in her early 50s, was immediately pulled from the water and given first aid and CPR until she was able to breathe on her own. She was then taken to the hospital. 

According to police, the call came through as a near-drowning incident but was not identified as such in the final report.
