LIVINGSTON, NJ - The Livingston Youth and Community Services (LYCS) is holding its annual Toys for Tots collection drive this holiday season. Members of the Livingston community are invited to participate. Collections will begin after Thanksgiving and run through December 18, so that the gifts can be distributed in time for the holidays.

According to LYCS, “These gifts will help brighten up the holidays for many children including those who are homeless, in foster care, and those most in need.”

Collection bins are available at several locations around town including: Livingston Town Hall, the Senior/Community Center (1st and 2nd levels), Heritage Middle School, Livingston High School, the West Essex YMCA and the Livingston Public Library.

Participants are invited to drop off wrapped gifts that are labeled accordingly—boy/girl/unisex and by age range, or unwrapped gifts.

This collaborative project is spearheaded by LYCS Leaders, the Heritage Middle School Student Council, and the Livingston High School Community Action Club. The toys will be distributed by the Mental Health Association of Essex County (MHAEC).
