Livingston’s Jonathan Friedman Talks Sports on WMTR-AM

MORRISTOWN, NJ – WMTR-AM radio has entered the sports-talk arena with the recent debut of "Taking Sports." On-air live each Thursday, from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m., the call-in format program features Livingston resident Jonathan Friedman taking calls on all manner of pro, college, and local scholastic sports.

Friedman's primary expertise is in basketball, baseball, and football, but he's more than happy to also discuss hockey, MMA, golf, and pretty much anything else sports fans are inclined to call about.

"I've loved sports and radio since I was a young boy growing up in Atlanta," says Friedman, who has built a long career in advertising. "To spend a full hour each week chatting with guests and sharing ideas with callers is tremendously enjoyable, and I very rarely lack an opinion...on anything."

Listeners who’d like to contact Friedman while he’s on the air may call WMTR at 973-267-9687.

Instead, it turned out to be a nearly 40-year odyssey in local journalism—including the last eight—overwhelmingly great—years with The Alternative Press (TapInto.Net).

I have decided it is time to spend more time in ...

The Last Game

My daughter recently played the last soccer game of her career.

Yippee!  No more practices!  No more tournaments!  No more long drives to obscure fields!  No more tiny black turf pellets all over the car!

No more selfish surges of pride watching her athletic achievements.  No more thrilling victories.

My daughter is a ...
