LIVINGSTON, NJ — With Thanksgiving and the holiday season of goodwill, the Livingston Youth and Community Services (LYCS) Leaders, Heritage Middle School Student Council, Livingston High School Community Action Club and the Township Health Department are asking the Livingston community to join them in the annual Toys4Tots and Holiday Giving Tree collection drives.
Collection bins are currently available at several locations around town, including Livingston Town Hall, the Senior/Community Center (first and second levels), Heritage Middle School, Livingston High School, the West Essex YMCA and the Livingston Public Library. Participants can drop off gifts, wrapped with the label: boy/girl/unisex and age range, or unwrapped to any of these locations. Collections will continue through Dec. 17 in order to be distributed in time for the holidays.
Toys, hats, gloves, scarves and the like will be distributed by the Mental Health Association of Essex County (MHAEC) and will help brighten up the holidays for many children, including those who are homeless, in foster care or others in need.
