MONTCLAIR, NJ - Have you written your 10 resolutions for 2016? If so, why not try 11 resolutions this year and add finding the right college fit to your list?

No list written yet? Then why not start with completing a college application as one of your academic career goals for 2016. There are a multitude of academic paths available to you, so do not limit your search to institutions and campuses that you are already familiar with or have heard about from a friend. Instead, think globally, think of yourself, your aspirations and what would be the best fit for you.

Make a strategic plan and focus on each step one at a time. Do the search, write the essays, take your tests, make a top five wish list, plan college visits, contact alumni, engage your family and have a full impact college application experience.

Let the Games Begin

I am truly awed by the Olympics.  Watching these superb young athletes on TV inspires me to renew my membership to the gym and pursue my lifelong dream of taking home the gold.

The problem is that in my deluded head, I can see actually see myself standing atop the podium.  I am wrapped in a puffy designer ski coat with a huge piece of bling slung around my neck ...

In the Driver's Seat

Honey, I am going to take the Roadster out for a quick spin around the sun. I’ll be back in a few million years.

That’s nice dear. While you are out, could you pick up a gallon of milk?
