McAlister's Deli Announces November Specials Including a Food Drive Benefiting C.H.O.W.

LIVINGSTON, NJ - McAlister's Deli, located at 277 Eisenhower Parkway, is gearing up for the upcoming holiday season with a food drive running through Nov. 22 that is benefiting C.H.O.W., and a few special offers for patrons.

All guests need to do is mention the promotions listed below to have the discounts applied. 

Food Drive for C.H.O.W.

Once all items are collected, St. Philomena’s Sister Barbara, the director of C.H.O.W., and her staff will organize and distribute the donations to those in need.

“Any and all donations are greatly appreciated by this tremendous organization," Ash Ram, owner of McAlister’s Deli, wrote to prospective donors. “Please help us in our efforts to raise awareness for the many who are not quite as blessed as the rest of us. Help bring joy and cheer to those in need this holiday season.”

According to Ram, patrons will receive double stamps on their “choose two" card when they bring in four items for the Food Drive.

Essential items being collected include:

  • Canned Tuna/Vegetables/Fruit
  • Peanut Butter/Jellies/Jams
  • Hot and Cold Breakfast Cereals
  • Pasta/Pasta Sauce/Macaroni and Cheese
  • Rice (Brown or White)
  • Powdered Milk/Beverages
  • Bottled Water
  • Canned/Dry Beans
  • Helper Meals/Kits
  • Soups/Broths
  • Baby Food/Formula
  • Granola Bars/Meal Bars
  • Condiments – Ketchup/Mustard/Mayonnaise
  • Crackers/Biscuits
  • Paper Goods/Toilet Paper/Paper Towels

National Sandwich Day Special on Nov. 3

National Sandwich Day is taking place on Thursday, Nov., 3, and to celebrate the day, all club sandwiches will be $4 at McAlister's Deli.

Happy Hour Special

Guests should mention "Happy Hour" to receive 30-percent off their entire food order from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. daily. The offer is not applicable for catering orders.

Early Bird Special for Retirees

Retiree patrons may mention "Early Bird Special" on Mondays and Tuesdays from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. to receive the special of a “choose two meals plus a small beverage and a choice of any sides special” for $8.49. This special is only for retired-aged individuals. Proof of ID may be required.

Note: There will be an additional upcharge for premium items applied.

Kids Eat Free Special

Customers are invited to mention "Kids Eat Free," with the purchase of an adult entrée, every weekday from 3 p.m. to close, and all day on weekends, to have their child's meal comped.

Catering Special

Those planning to have a catered event are invited to mention "Catering 10" to receive 10-percent off their next catering order of $100 or more. The order must be made from McAlister’s catering menu, not the regular restaurant menu. Call 973-535-0612.

Free Delivery Now Available to the Eisenhower Corporate Complex

McAlister’s Deli is now offering free delivery services to employees at the Eisenhower Corporate Complex located at 290 W. Mt. Pleasant Ave. in Livingston, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Monday through Friday, for any delivery that meets the $25 sales minimum. Call 973-535-0612 to place an order.
