McAlister’s Deli to Hold Its Official Grand Opening on June 18; NY Jets Fullback, Tommy Bohanon, to Sign Autographs

LIVINGSTON, NJ – Livingston’s newest restaurant, McAlister’s Deli, located at 277 Eisenhower Parkway, next to Fresh City, is holding its official grand opening on Saturday, June 18, from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. There will be free tea and cookies available all day. The public is invited to attend the festivities and enjoy the newly opened outside patio.

Not only will there be complimentary face painting from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m., but NY Jets Fullback, Tommy Bohanon, will be signing autographs from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. According to Wiki, in the 2013 NFL Draft, Bohanon was selected in the seventh round, as the 215th overall pick by the New York Jets. And, on May 10, 2013, he signed a four-year deal with the team.

Raffle tickets for $5, with all proceeds going to support the Cure Pancreatic Cancer – The Lustgarten Foundation, have been on sale all week and can be purchased at the event. Prizes include the following: Grand Prize: Football signed by Bohanon and other Jets players; Second Prize: Two Jets Tickets; and Third Prize: $100 Gift Card to McAlister’s. There will also be other giveaways throughout the event.

Founded in 1989, McAlister’s Deli is a fast casual restaurant chain known for its sandwiches, spuds, soups, salads, desserts and McAlister’s Famous Sweet Tea, according to the website. And, at McAlister’s, kids eat free every Wednesday night, from 6 p.m. to close. In addition to dine-in and take-out service, McAlister’s also offers catering with a selection of sandwich trays, box lunches, desserts, a hot spud bar and more.
