LIVINGSTON, NJ - Richard M. Hoffman, CPA/CGMA, a member of Levine, Jacobs & Company, L.L.C., was recently interviewed by “Commerce” magazine, the flagship publication of the Commerce & Industry Association (CIANJ), in its July 2015 issue. 

Posed with the question of best practices to create a winning company culture, Hoffman said, “In order to compete in today’s exceedingly difficult business climate, every company must embrace a winning culture.” 

He added, “We advise our clients to have their management teams draw on the strengths of their employees when assigning job responsibilities, give employees positive feedback, keep an open, two-way channel of communication and make sure their workforce understand that their opinions count.”

Hoffman is the director of the firm’s audit department. He is in charge of the peer-review and quality-standards programs for which the company has consistently received superior ratings. His client base includes medical and legal professionals, real estate development and management, retail/wholesale distribution and manufacturing. His expertise also extends to matrimonial, litigation support and forensic engagements. In addition, Hoffman has served as an expert witness relating to arbitration/mediation proceedings and plaintiff litigation. A prolific writer, he has authored and/or been quoted in numerous publications and has been a guest on statewide radio.
