TRENTON, NJ - Milena Tjin of Livingston won second place in the grades seven to nine division of the 2015 New Jersey Conservation Poster Contest on May 19 at an awards ceremony held at the New Jersey State Museum Auditorium in Trenton. She received a $100 prize.

The award was presented by New Jersey Secretary of Agriculture Douglas H. Fisher and Raymond Cywinski, president of the New Jersey Association of Conservation Districts.

The competition is sponsored by the New Jersey Department of Agriculture State Soil Conservation Committee, New Jersey Association of Conservation Districts and the state’s 15 Soil Conservation Districts, which work to conserve and manage soil and water resources in the state.
