LIVINGSTON, NJ — Mission Fitness Crossfit West Livingston is hosting its second annual fundraiser for Spectrum Works at Mission fitness on April 8 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Last year, the event attracted more than 200 people and raised more than $10,000 toward Spectrum Works, a non-profit organization that gives individuals within the autism spectrum the opportunity to learn skills in a regular work environment with the possibility of obtaining employment.
“Spectrum Works gets very little if any funding from the federal government,” said Mission Fitness co-owner Joe Romano. “Your donations have such a huge impact on individuals in this program.”
The event will include workouts, blue hair extensions, Autism merchandise and more. A minimum donation of $20 is recommended, but any donation amount is appreciated and 100 percent of proceeds go toward Spectrum Works.
