LIVINGSTON, NJ — Subsequent to investigation of a motor vehicle accident at approximately 9:30 a.m. on Friday in which a vehicle drove onto the lawn of 13 Stony Hill Place in Livingston, a Newark man was arrested on numerous charges.

According to police, the driver, identified as James Jones of Newark, was taken into custody for driving while intoxicated (DWI), driving while suspended, careless driving and possession of a controlled dangerous substance (CDS).

Jones was released on his own recognizance pending court action.
