LIVINGSTON, NJ — The following individuals were recently appearing in Livingston Municipal Court on shoplifting charges out of Livingston.
- David Martinez of Irvington was arrested for shoplifting clothing from Lord & Taylor in the amount of $158.09. According to Livingston Municipal Court, Martinez pled guilty to an amended charge of theft. He was given a $100 fine, $33 in court costs, $50 to the Victims of Crime Compensation Board (VCCB) and $75 to the Safe Neighborhood Fund (SNF).
- Matilda Ansah of Newark was arrested for shoplifting purses and other merchandise from Macy’s in the amount of $731.60. According to Livingston Municipal Court, Ansah pled guilty to an amended charge of creating a disturbance. She was given a fine of $500 and $33 in court costs.
