LIVINGSTON, NJ — When the annual poll to name the top girls' soccer goalie in the Super Essex Conference closed this week, Livingston High School’s Mykala Healy took the top spot with 25,930 individual votes, or 40.82 percent of the total votes. With top Super Essex Conference teams like Montclair and Glen Ridge in the running, Healy’s win proved that she had the Livingston community’s support.
According to recent statistics, Healy has nearly 140 saves under her belt as a goalkeeper for the Livingston Lancers. Also a girls' basketball player, the senior is considered as "one of the Super Essex Conference’s most talented and valuable female athletes."
Coming in close with 21,526 votes was Sarah Roselli of Nutley.
