MADISON, NJ - After opening this past Spring, 'STRYXE' redefines everything one conceptually thinks of in a bowling alley.

Bowling balls...check, lanes...check, food and beer...check check...now STRYXE asks bowlers to throw everything they think about bowling alleys out the window and visit the mega-entertainment venue that is STRYXE.

The new space holds an appeal to several different markets by design, including adults, families, and corporate clientele. It is a place where people can come in to relax, have fun and enjoy themselves, not just bowl.

STRYXE has two large U-shaped bars flanking either end of the space that offer the best of craft spirits and beers STRYXE also features an impressive wine-by-the-glass menu, more in line with a great restaurant rather than the old local lanes. Guests can relax in plush lounge seating found across the establishment or nestle up to the custom bar tops – one made of concrete, the other of 60-year old bowling lane wood. STRYXE has an atmosphere that one can get comfortable in while enjoying the finest offerings put forth.

Clientele can eat a wide range of upscale food and drink craft cocktails and beer anywhere throughout the facility, including by two indoor fireplaces. This is a not the typical plastic cup and cold pizza bowling establishment. In fact, their Specialties menu features selections you would expect to find at five star restaurant, like the popular Maple Essence Wild Salmon.

To keep everyone happy and active the venue has 20 bowling lanes, an interactive arcade and classic parlor games including pool tables and shuffleboard. All amusements leverage a pre-paid card that is reloadable and stores points earned. Points can be redeemed for merchandise right at guest services and encourages family fun day activity prior to the adult offering at 8:30 p.m. daily.

"The project is the result of hard work of a lot of great people," the owners said. "We aimed for a sleek modern design that was visually appealing and achieved it through the creative mind of Adam Zangrilli of Zangrilli Design."

Now with a few months under its belt, STRYXE, located at 300 Main Street in Madison, has added Thursday and Friday Happy Hours featuring drink and food specials, Football Sunday and Monday night game-day broadcasting with a special "tailgate"-inspired menu and is available to host private parties and events of all types.

With 38 TVs, professional-quality AV equipment, a gourmet dining experience, two craft bars and a whole lot of  lounging space, STRYXE in Madison has redefined the bowling experience with something for every age all under one roof.
