Nominations Sought for Russ Berrie Award for Making a Difference

WEST ORANGE, NJ -  Nominations for the Eighteenth Annual Russ Berrie Award for Making a Difference are now being accepted for 2014. The award is sponsored by Ramapo College and is awarded to New Jersey residents that have contributed to the greater good through uncommon acts of heroism and community service.

Three major awards of $50,000, $35,000 and $25,000, in addition to eight runner-up awards of $5,000 each, will be awarded.  

The Russ Berrie Award recognizes “unsung heroes” that have made significant differences to society and who will also benefit the recipient in their own life. The award celebrates "good works" in New Jersey and those that work for the common good of all.

The deadline for submissions is February 14, 2014.
