Lenten suppers, with video and discussion, will begin on Thursday, March 4 at 6:30 pm and continue for four Thursdays at Trinity Covenant Church, 343 E. Cedar St., Livingston.

"Dinner together will be 'potluck' style, but visitors are more than welcome to come without preparing anything" said Pastor Susan Gillespie. "There's always more than enough food and we'd rather have you visit than stay away."

The video portion of the evening will begin at 7:15 pm - the series is called "Resurrection" and features theologian N.T. Wright. Filmed on site in the Middle East, the series addresses, "The Concept of the Afterlfe in the Ancient World," "The Idea of Resurrection in Jesus' World," "The Gospels and the Resurrection of Jesus," and "The Significance of the Resurrection for the Christian Life."

N.T. (Tom) Wright, formerly canon theologian of Westminster Abbey in London, is the current bishop of Durham (England). He taught New Testament studies for twenty years at Cambridge, McGill and Oxford Universities. One of his most recent and popular books is, Surprised By Hope: Rethinking Heaven, Resurrection and the Mission of the Church.

All are welcome for dinner, video and/or discussion. For more information, contact the church office at 973-992-4044 or visit their web site at www.TrinityCovenantChurch.com
