NY Jet Kris Jenkins Coming to Livingston Mall, September 21st

As the NFL football season finally gets into full swing, NY Jet fans will have the opportunity to get up close and personal with nose tackle Kris Jenkins when Livingston Mall teams with Sports Express to host a special meet-and-greet session on Tuesday, September 21, 2010 from 6:00 through 8:00 p.m.

Devotees of the four-time pro-bowler can stop by Sports Express, located between Lord & Taylor and Sears on the mall's upper level, to meet the 10-year NFL veteran and purchase an autograph. Participants are also welcome to bring their cameras to take photos.

Jenkins, who begins his third season with the NY Jets is looking to make a big impact this year after returning from a major injury last season that caused him to miss 10 games. He's had a great preseason so far and is a primary leader of a defensive unit that is among the best in the NFL. The Jets, who have visions of making it to this year's Super Bowl, just missed last year when they were defeated by the Indianapolis Colts in the AFC Championship game in January.

"Kris Jenkins has quickly become one of the most popular players for the NY Jets so we're excited about having him here at Livingston Mall," said Elizabeth DiDuca, area director of marketing & business development for Livingston Mall and Rockaway Townsquare. "The event is just another example of Livingston Mall's commitment to offer special appearances and entertainment for the enjoyment of our shoppers."

For more details about the event and information on autograph pricing, please call Sports Express at (973) 535-6477 or visit www.myspace.com/sportsexpress

February 25, 2018

On January 29, Congressman Rodney Frelinghuysen announced his decision to retire.  Presumably he is now free to vote his conscience rather than blindly go along with his party’s agenda against the interests of the working class in America.

On February 14, he voted to support a bill that allows usurious credit card rates to apply when loans are sold from one institution to another.

Let the Games Begin

I am truly awed by the Olympics.  Watching these superb young athletes on TV inspires me to renew my membership to the gym and pursue my lifelong dream of taking home the gold.

The problem is that in my deluded head, I can see actually see myself standing atop the podium.  I am wrapped in a puffy designer ski coat with a huge piece of bling slung around my neck ...
