In recognition of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Livingston Mall is joining with 13 Simon Property Group malls in the NY/NJ region to Paint the Mall Pink, a grassroots program designed to highlight breast cancer awareness that will feature a combination of educational displays, health fairs, special events, retailer offerings and a variety of other pink elements throughout the malls during the month of October.
“As part of our ongoing commitment to give back to the community, we wanted to come up with a way to address this important health issue that affects so many women,” said Elizabeth DiDuca, area director of marketing and business development for Livingston Mall and Rockaway Townsquare. “We believe our Paint the Mall Pink program will accomplish that by incorporating our retail environment with an assortment of ‘pink-themed’ activities that will help increase the level of consciousness about breast cancer.”

Among the activities and events planned for Livingston Mall’s Paint the Mall Pink program are:
Paint the Mall Pink Month– October 1-October 31, the mall will be offering women’s health screenings and health information provided by Atlantic Health Systems, one of the largest non-profit health care systems in New Jersey and sponsor of the Paint the Mall Pink program at Livingston Mall. Shoppers are also encouraged to pick up a ribbon and place it on our Tree of Hope in dedication to loved ones. Donations are welcomed and will benefit the Susan G.
