Painting the Mall Pink to Promote Breast Cancer Awareness

In recognition of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Livingston Mall is joining with 13 Simon Property Group malls in the NY/NJ region to Paint the Mall Pink, a grassroots program designed to highlight breast cancer awareness that will feature a combination of educational displays, health fairs, special events, retailer offerings and a variety of other pink elements throughout the malls during the month of October.
“As part of our ongoing commitment to give back to the community, we wanted to come up with a way to address this important health issue that affects so many women,” said Elizabeth DiDuca, area director of marketing and business development for Livingston Mall and Rockaway Townsquare. “We believe our Paint the Mall Pink program will accomplish that by incorporating our retail environment with an assortment of ‘pink-themed’ activities that will help increase the level of consciousness about breast cancer.”
