TEANECK, NJ - In June 2014, Livingston High School 2009 Alumna Brittany Dippold’s Band Pastele landed in the Top Five on VH1’s “Make a Band Famous.” TAP into Livingston interviewed Dippold and ran this story “Local Band Pastele Places 5th on VH1's "Make A Band Famous." Now, Pastele is teaming up with Fancy Reagan, the group that won, became a VH1 “You Outta Know” artist and signed a record deal with Universal Republic Records, to play Mexicali Live in Teaneck NJ, Saturday October 25.

The two bands said they met on the show this past summer. After the whirlwind of the show and its aftermath, Pastele said that they and Fancy have been heavily working in the studio.

Now, the two groups have decided it is time to rejoice and join forces back on stage.

“We’re both really excited to debut all the new material we’ve been working on since the show and are eager to get back in front of an audience before any releases,” said Dippold.

Extra Time

It was close to 70 minutes into the match and I had to go to the bathroom.  Badly.

As fans watching the World Cup know too well, bathroom breaks are a serious dilemma, especially for those who don’t have a TV in the loo.  This biological necessity is exasperated by beer, which during World Cup matches also fuels a strong propensity to throw chairs and instigate riots.
