Please Support the LHS Hall Of Fame Dinner and Livingston Education Foundation (LEF)

As Vice President of Livingston Education Foundation (LEF) I would like to solicit all readers to make their reservations to join us in honoring this year’s LHS Hall of Fame inductees and LEAD award recipients, all esteemed persons in their chosen fields: Dr. V.A. Shiva Ayyadurai, Class of 1981, (Inventor of EMAIL), Charles Bendit, Class of 1971 (Leading Businessman and supporter of Education), Larry Fieber, Class of 1968, (Educational Visionary) and Dr. Suzanne Steinbaum, Class of 1986 (Famed Cardiologist and TV Personality) and our Leadership in Educational Achievement and Dedication (LEAD) Award Recipients, Jim Ransegnola (Exceptional Teacher) and Don Schwartz (Beloved Teacher and “Mr. Livingston”).

This year’s honorees join a distinguished group of prior honorees, showing what has been accomplished by the superior education and motivation received by these movers and shakers in their respective business and professional communities, and it all started here in Livingston, fostered by our top-notch educators.

Meet and Greet these well-deserving people at our induction reception, on Friday, October 10, 2014, 3:30 p.m.—7:00 p.m., The Wilshire Grand Caterers—West Orange, New Jersey.

If you cannot attend the reception, show your support for LEF and honor these former students at LHS, by making a contribution to LEF and being listed on its Roll of Honor that night.

LEF is a tax-exempt, IRS recognized 501(c)(3) organization, whose mission is: Building on the tradition of providing excellence in education by providing school-community partnerships and shared resources that will enhance not only educational opportunities for all Livingston Public Schools and their student, as well as continue to grow an involved, thriving community.

Reservation and contribution forms are available at our web site, or you may send your dinner reservation and/or Roll of Honor information and your check, with a short note including your contact information, to Trudy Bier, 25 Brookside Place, Livingston, NJ 07039. Note that Roll of Honor minimum contribution is $5.00 each recipient. Honor one or all.

Reservations and Hall of Fame Contributions must be received by October 5, 2014.

This evening will be well worth attending, and who knows what surprises may be in store.

Follow the reception by attending the Homecoming Football Game.

I look forward to seeing as many faces as possible at this annual affair that benefits our entire community.
