LIVINGSTON, NJ — Quick Mart Food Store in Livingston became a “lucky location” this week, as it sold the winning $174,701 Jersey Cash 5 jackpot ticket from Saturday’s drawing. The lucky ticket matched all five numbers, which were: 01, 14, 19, 26 and 41 and the XTRA number was: 02.

The winner was not identified nor is it clear whether he or she is a Livingston resident. However, the retailer, located at 172 South Livingston Avenue, will receive a bonus check for $2,000 for selling the winning ticket.

“We are thrilled that the winning jackpot ticket was sold at Quick Mart Food Store,” said Executive Director Carole Hedinger. “Overnight, they have become one more ‘lucky location’ for the very fortunate lottery winner.”

According to Hedinger, there were 328,043 tickets purchased for this drawing. By adding XTRA for an additional $1 per play, winners were able to multiply their non-jackpot prizes by the XTRA number drawn.

For correctly matching four of the five numbers drawn, 41 ticketholders won $634 each and 10 others won $1,268 each with the addition of XTRA. Moreover, for correctly matching three of the five numbers drawn, 1,939 ticketholders won $16 each and 294 others won $32 each with the addition of XTRA. Lastly, 3,722 ticketholders each won $2 for correctly matching two of the five numbers drawn with the addition of XTRA on their purchase.
