Voiceover artist and host of the popular quiz show event "The Big Quiz Thing," Eric De Piccotto, joined the Bad to the Dad podcast this week. On the latest episode, titled "The Dadding Game," Maplewood resident De Picciotto discusses how he broke into the voiceover business and how "The Big Quiz Thing" got its start.
"The Big Quiz Thing" is a trivia-based game show that has been hosted by companies like Google, Wells Fargo, and Pfizer, as well as schools and non-profits both locally and nationally.
"'Eric has helped to make this quiz show event a really big deal" says Adam D. "'The Big Quiz Thing' is a more energizing and creative alternative to the hackneyed corporate team building or awards dinner."
"Eric's also the Zale's guy!" adds Coach Randy, referencing De Piccotto's voice presence on the popular jewelry retailer's commercials. "There's just so much talent living right in our area."
In addition to discussing his work history and raising two kids eleven months apart, De Picciotto also challenged his hosts with some dad-themed trivia.
"Needless to say, we have work to do," says Adam D. "I think if we ever have Eric back on, we're going to have to step up our dad-trivia game."
