Regal Bank Presents Lineup for 2017 Livingston Summer Concert Series

LIVINGSTON, NJ – Regal Bank, sponsor of the annual Livingston Summer Concert Series, recently announced the lineup for 9th annual community event, which showcases live musical performances every Sunday evening in July from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Gazebo at Memorial Field.

Picnic food and lawn games add to the festivities each week. In the event of inclement weather, shows will be hosted in the Livingston High School Auditorium.

This year’s music will include soul, country, pop and rock. Each concert features regional tribute and cover bands. Returning this year is the popular B-Street Band to perform the hits of Bruce Springsteen. New to this year’s event are the Sensational Soul Cruisers, Livingston Leo, Radio Nashville and the 1910 Fruitgum Company.

The 9th annual Livingston Summer Concert Series schedule is as follows:

Sunday, July 2 | The B-Street Band | Tribute to music of the Boss

Sunday, July 9 | Sensational Soul Cruisers | Soul music by artists like Otis Redding and Barry White

Sunday, July 16 | Livingston Leo | Bluesy rock band

Sunday, July 23 | Radio Nashville | Country cover band

Sunday, July 30 | 1910 Fruitgum Company | 60s American bubblegum pop

Also returning this year is the Summer Concert Series Photo Contest. In order to enter, attendees can post their concert photos on Twitter and Instagram with the hashtag #RegalBankConcert.

Winners will be selected based on creativity, originality, aesthetics, engagement and theme. Weekly winners will be announced at the end of each performance and will receive a $50 gift card. At the end of the series, one grand-prize winner will receive a $100 gift card.

On behalf of the Township of Livingston, special events supervisor Liliana Branquinho said the township is “so grateful to Regal Bank for sponsoring this event again.”

“It’s a great chance for our residents to get out in the summer weather and enjoy something a little different, keeping Livingston a great place to live,” said Branquinho.
