LIVINGSTON, NJ – Eager children and their families can experience the joy and magic of the holiday season with a visit to the Simon Santa Photo Experience at Livingston Mall.

According to Simon, children can visit and be photographed with Santa through Christmas Eve in Center Court.

“One of the great traditions of holiday shopping at Livingston Mall is the annual family visit to the Simon Santa Photo Experience,” said Maria Gregorius, area director of marketing and business development at Livingston Mall. “I know Santa can’t wait to greet children bringing him their holiday wishes.”

Families can also save time and avoid the line with “Santa by Appointment”  by visiting http://simon.noerrsanta.com.

Pet Photo Night also returns to the Simon Santa Photo Experience at Livingston Mall this year, where many pet owners view their pet as an integral member of the family and are just as committed in caring for their pets as their “human” family members.

Pet Photo nights are hosted after regular mall closing and the set gets an extensive cleaning following the event to remove any potential risk to allergy sufferers. Pet Photo Night at Livingston Mall will be on Dec. 11 from 6 to 8 p.m. Guests are asked to bring pets in through the mall entrance next to Dunkin Donuts.

The Simon Santa Photo Experience is again sponsored by The Gymboree Corporation, a specialty retailer operating stores selling high-quality apparel and accessories for children under the Gymboree, Gymboree Outlet, Janie and Jack and Crazy 8 brands.

The 2016 Simon Santa Photo Experience and Pet Photo Night is also sponsored by Universal Pictures Home Entertainment which is celebrating the highly-anticipated release of “The Secret Life of Pets,” available on Digital HD Nov. 22 and on Blu-ray and DVD Dec. 6. Come visit the Simon Santa Photo Experience and receive a fun-filled activity sheet, a custom The Secret Life of Pets holiday headband and watch highlights from the movie.

This holiday season, Simon invites everyone to celebrate “The Joy of Giving.” Giving is contagious and this season Simon invites everyone to pass that spirit on and ‘Give Love,’ ‘Give Sparkle,’ ‘Give Warmth,’ and ‘Give Fun.’ Join Simon to experience the season’s good cheer with the best of holiday shopping and entertainment.

Shoppers can enjoy a variety of activities at Livingston Mall, including:

  • Join the Simon Kidgits Club on Friday, December 2 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at a special event, Welcome Santa at Livingston Mall. Enjoy holiday entertainment, refreshments and activities that will get families into the spirit! Shoppers should plan to arrive promptly at 6:00 p.m. to see the Magic Elf Show. Immediately following at 6:30 p.m., join Princess Elena from Avalor as she waits for Santa to arrive on his fire truck. Guests are invited to take photos with Santa once he arrives.  All attendees will receive special photo pricing.

  • Savor the sounds of the season with performances Dec. 1 through Dec. 23 in the lower level, Macy’s Court.

  • Charity gift-wrapping, with proceeds benefitting the American Cancer Society, will be available on the lower level in the Barnes & Noble wing.

  • Celebrate Hanukkah with a Menorah Lighting event on Monday, Dec. 26.

Guests to every Simon Photo Experience will have another opportunity to share Santa’s heart by making a donation via The Noerr Programs to Save the Children. For nearly 100 years, this non-profit has given underserved children in the U.S. a healthy start, the opportunity to learn and protection from harm. Since this program began five years ago, Noerr has collected over $1,000,000 largely due to the generosity of Simon shoppers.

Extra Time

It was close to 70 minutes into the match and I had to go to the bathroom.  Badly.

As fans watching the World Cup know too well, bathroom breaks are a serious dilemma, especially for those who don’t have a TV in the loo.  This biological necessity is exasperated by beer, which during World Cup matches also fuels a strong propensity to throw chairs and instigate riots.
