Betsy Bresnick, Esq., Skoloff & Wolfe, P.C., will give a presentation to National Council of Jewish Women’s RAINBOWS Session for parents Monday, April 23rd at 6:30pm. The event will take place at NCJW headquarters located at 70 South Orange Ave., Suite 120, Livingston, NJ.
RAINBOWS is a children’s group run for children whose parents are divorced or are divorcing or for children who have lost a parent. Ms. Bresnick will speak on the procedural divorce process, economic issues related to alimony, child support and equitable distribution and attorney fees.
An international organization, RAINBOWS was started in Chicago thirty years ago. Since then more than two million children have participated in programs in the forty-nine states of the United States and in thirteen other countries. The NCJW RAINBOWS project provides free peer support groups for children ages five to twelve who have suffered significant loss in their lives either through death, divorce or other painful transitions.
