LIVINGSTON, NJ — Aspiring student artists in grades 6 through 12 are invited to participate in a special "Paint the Town" event hosted by the ACL (Arts Council of Livingston) Gallery, which will provide a list of venues for the students to transform into works of art.

The gallery will supply 16-by-20 canvases for a nominal fee, and participating students will be able to use any form of media to create their artwork.

Interested students are encouraged to claim their canvases as early as possible, as supplies are limited to 50 canvases.

Finished pieces should be returned to the gallery either Sunday, April 19 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. or Monday, April 20 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. All submissions will be installed at the gallery for all to enjoy.

Artists, friends and family are also invited to an opening reception on Sunday, April 26 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
