Sunrise Rotary Invites All for a Night of Food Tasting to Benefit St. Barnabas NICU


LIVINGSTON, NJ - The Livingston Sunrise Rotary Club is getting ready for their 10th Annual Food and Wine Tasting Event to benefit the St. Barnabas Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and other Rotary Charities.

Last year the Sunrise Rotary reported having great success with its annual tasting and was able to donate $26,000 to the St. Barnabas NICU, and over $125,000 has been donated over the past nine years.

Approximately 30 area restaurants, caterers, and liquor distributors will be presenting their best dishes and wine samplings for all to enjoy.

Some of the participants this year will be local favorites such as; Carlo’s Bake Shop, Godfather Seafood Bar & Grill, Tutto Fresco, Calabria’s, Lithos Estiatorio, LuNello’s Montville Inn, McCloones, Nero’s Grille, Suzy Que’s BBQ, Supreme Bakery, Thavma Mediterranean Grill, Philly Pretzel Factory, The Strip House, Senioritas, Anthony Marra’s Restaurant, Herb & Spice and many others.

This year’s event will also feature a tricky tray with chances to win prizes such as fine jewelry, flat screen televisions, ipads and restaurant gift certificates.  There will also be a silent auction with items to bid on such as sports memorabilia, women’s accessories, costume jewelry and art work.

The event will take place on Monday, Nov. 4 from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Westminster Hotel in Livingston.
