LIVINGSTON, NJ - Writing for the town paper looks great on college transcripts and right now, TAP into Livingston is is looking for high school students for our Internship program.
We are looking for bright, inquisitive, energetic and creative interns to join our unpaid journalism training program.
Schedules are flexible. Student Interns will write on school sporting events and school events. They will also take photos. Students from LHS and Newark Academy are invited to apply to write at their respective schools.
TAP into Livingston will meet with all interns once a month where they will receive a monthly lesson in journalism and be assigned articles. In addition, each article submission will be edited and notes for improvement will be provided for each article.
This is an unpaid learning opportunity for interns. They will be trained to become better writers, gain confidence in interviewing people and discover the world of newspaper journalism.
For information or to apply, call/text Jackie at 201-618-7444 or send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
