The Sisterhood of Temple B'nai Abraham will hold its first Annual Bowlathon on Sunday, October 17, from 12 noon to 2:00 PM at  Hanover Lanes, Route 10 East, East Hanover. The proceeds from this event will benefit ALYN Hospital, a Pediatric and Adolescent Rehabilitation Center in Israel,

ALYN, in Jerusalem, is the premier comprehensive rehabilitation center of its kind in Israel, dedicated to treating infants, children, and teens with a broad range of physical disabilities. ALYN is the perfect acronym in Hebrew and English: Aguda L’ezrat Yeladim Nachim (Organization to Help Disabled Children) and All the Love You Need.  ALYN Hospital combines expertise and love so each patient and family can meet the challenges of living with disabilities and achieve the highest possible level of mobility and independence.

For the Bowlathon, individuals bowl for $15 and a whole family (up to 5 people) can bowl for $50. The fee includes bowling, shoes, one raffle ticket & a t-shirt with all donor names listed. Food is available. Prizes will be awarded to the top three scores of the day. If you are unable to attend, you may choose to sponsor a bowling lane for $75.

Sisterhood’s Bowlathon is part of ALYN's  program,  MITZVAH OF LOVE,  an activity-based charity project that benefits the heroic children of ALYN Hospital.  Designed to instill the values of philanthropy and compassion, MITZVAH OF LOVE projects encourage children and teens to do something because they can for children who cannot.
