LIVINGSTON, NJ — Tempur-Pedic, a national manufacturer of mattresses and pillows, celebrated the opening of its first flagship store in New Jersey on Monday with a ribbon cutting ceremony at the new location at the Livingston’s Container Store Shopping Center, 280 Eisenhower Pkwy suite 103.

Members of the Livingston Township Council and the Livingston Area Chamber of Commerce (LACC) were on hand early Monday morning to join in the celebration.

“We are very happy to have another new business in Livingston,” said Mayor Ed Meinhardt. “We hope that it will do very well—it’s a great location, beautiful store, and we’re happy to have everyone here to kickoff the store opener.”

Harold Parnes, project manager for JLL Project and Development Services, said the professional services firm is honored to have been part of the development process and opening of the first Tempur-Pedic store in New Jersey. He added that the store concept, the shopping center and the Township of Livingston are “truly a winning combination.”

“We’re opening a couple more locations in Paramus, Marlboro and Bridgewater, but this is the first one [in New Jersey],” said Store Manager Drew Hoilett. “What better place to start than in Livingston? It’s such a great town with so many great people and we know this is the perfect market for us.”
