The Honorable Rodney Frelinghuysen, U.S. Congressman, to Address Livingston Old Guard, May 1st

The Livingston Old Guard is proud to announce that the Honorable RODNEY FRELINGHUYSEN, US Congressman will be giving a talk on the current governmental situation in Washington on Tuesday May 1st at 10:30 AM at the Senior Center located at 204 Hillside Avenue. Everyone is welcomed to come and meet and listen to our congressman.

Congressman Frelinghuyen is serving his 9th term as representative for New Jersey's 11th Congressional District and serves as New Jersey's senior member of the house appropriations committee and official liason to the house intelligence committee. Today he chairs the subcommittee on Energy and Water devekopment and as a senior member of the defencse and homeland security committees.

Rodney is a Vietnam veteran serving with the US Army as a member of the 93rd engineering construction battalion. He is a member of the American Legion Post 59 and a life member of the VFW Post 3401.

He has championed work being done at Picatinny arsenal and other military installations. His focus on keeping the tax burden low and encouraging economic developments, earned him the :Hero of the Taxpayer" award from the Americans for tax reform as well as praise from the US Chamber of Commerce,  The National Association of Manufacturers and the National Federation of Independent Business.
