Tinkergarten to Host Free Class Wednesday, Sept. 13

WEST ORANGE, NJ - On Wednesday, Sept. 13, Tinkergarten leader Arielle Messuti is offering a free trial class for parents and children ages 18 months to eight years old. The class will be held at Tulip Springs, South Mountain Reservation in West Orange from 10:30 a.m. to 11:45 a.m.

At Tinkergarten, families meet outdoors to connect and learn through play. During this trial class, Messuti will facilitate an expert-designed play scenario, allowing children of various ages and needs to explore, problem solve, communicate, collaborate, and create together. Parents and caregivers learn as well, as they will share insight into each child's development.

Tinkergarten’s skill-based curriculum is designed to help kids become well-balanced people who can problem-solve, lead and create. It is intended to be engaging, memorable, play-based learning that takes place all outdoors.

Instead, it turned out to be a nearly 40-year odyssey in local journalism—including the last eight—overwhelmingly great—years with The Alternative Press (TapInto.Net).

I have decided it is time to spend more time in ...

The Last Game

My daughter recently played the last soccer game of her career.

Yippee!  No more practices!  No more tournaments!  No more long drives to obscure fields!  No more tiny black turf pellets all over the car!

No more selfish surges of pride watching her athletic achievements.  No more thrilling victories.

My daughter is a ...
